| Access by Subway/Train Madison Square Garden is located above Penn Station and may be accessed by taking the 1,2,3, A, C, E trains to 34th Street/Penn Station. You can also take the B, D, F, V, N, R, Q, W trains to the 34th Street/Avenue of the America’s stop and walk one block west to MSG. PATH trains from New Jersey also stop at 33rd Street/Avenue of the Americas. If you are coming by Metro-North, you may take the Shuttle from Grand Central to Times Square and transfer to the downtown 1,2,3 trains. |

| Madison Square Garden History The current Madison Square Garden is the 4th building to be called Madison Square Garden or MSG. The Grand Opening was February 11, 1968. The event was a salute to the USO. It starred Bing Crosby and Bob Hope. Since MSG opened The Garden has hosted thousands of world-class events.
